John Brillhart and his wife, Kelli, have proudly called Fridley home since 2009. Together, they are raising three boys, two of whom currently attend Fridley Public Schools, along with their two family cats. John has been deeply involved in the community for years, coaching all three of his sons in Little League baseball and volunteering for both local community organizations and political causes.

A lifelong Twin Cities resident, John understands the values and priorities that matter most to Fridley families. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in 2003 and later completed his MBA at University of St. Thomas in 2009.

Professionally, John owned and operated his own business for 10 years before moving into his current role as a Procurement Manager for a logistics company. His experience in business leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving has shaped his practical, community-focused approach to public service.

Fun facts about John: he was once interviewed on Canadian radio, and his great-uncle served as a U.S. Senator.
